Jude’s Story

Jude is 14 and grew up in an unstable home. As well as spending long periods alone, he was often left to care for his alcoholic dad. This vulnerability was exploited by older men in his community. With support from Barnardo’s OMS he is learning to stay safe and understand that none of this was his fault.

OMS has partnered with Popla Media to produce a series of short films inspired by the real experiences of young people who use our services. We believe meaningful change begins with truly understanding what young people have been through.
