The Winter Garden’ is a 360° film funded by the SPACE, made with the designers and artists Assemble. It tells the story of how a small group of women, driven by hope and imagination, regenerated their broken community in Granby, Toxteth, Liverpool, and ultimately won Britain’s most coveted contemporary art award, the Turner Prize. The film explores the making of the Winter Garden, a transformation of two derelict Victorian houses into a lush community space and artists’ residence. It captures the creativity, collaboration, and vision that brought new life to the neighbourhood.
